Frankies Bikinis Assistant Designer

• Trend research/ source vintage online and in-person/ mood board development relevant for brand/customer based on conceptual direction and ideas from the entire creative team
  

• Develop detailed hand sketches & CADs that align with brands direction and overall aesthetic

•  Research and present overall trends relevant for the Frankies Bikinis brand/customer based on conceptual direction and ideas from the entire creative team; translate these ideas into mood boards

•  Techpack all new and updated styles to pass to Tech Designers

• Direct artists to create prints and artworks each season. Provide comments and constructive guidance to ensure vision is aligned and excecuted


• Own “Artwork Packs” by choosing Pantones, scaling and placing artwork. Create pattern placements for appliques and one-way artworks.

• Own first proto sample “Design Reviews” with clear design comments and updates to manufacturers 
  

• Responsible for following through on comments for Lab Dips and Pantone pitch approvals in partnership with Development team.

• Adhere to design calendar deadlines and timelines; ensuring all designs are completed accurately and on time.
  

• Attend fit review sessions, note feedback, and update flat sketches as necessary.
  

• Build strong, dynamic, and synergistic relationships with cross-functional partners; Technical Design, Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising and Production.

• Meet with international manufacturers and trim vendors to choose and buy new textiles and trims for future collections.
